If you are using the PAD-5 USB IR adapter
1) Is the PAD-5 cable connected securely to your computer's USB port?
Firmly but gently push the connectors into the IR adapter and computer ports to make sure they are plugged in as far as they will go.
2) Use the following procedure to make sure that the PAD-5 driver is correctly installed on your computer.
1. Select [Start] [Settings] [Control Panel].
2. Double-click the [System] icon.
3. Click the [Device Manager] tab.
4. Double-click [Network adapters]. Check if [CASIO PAD-5] is in the device list. If it isn't, it means the PAD-5 driver is not installed correctly.
