WK Series Saving Songs as .MID

How can I convert songs in .CKF format to SMF (.MID)? 6/27/07

The Music Management software supplied by Casio, will convert songs recorded on the WK series keyboards from .MID (when saved as SMF) to .CKF when saved to the computer.

Solution:

Record the song as normal to the internal keyboard memory.

Follow the SAVE procedure to save to a memory card. (Save as SMF)

Remove the card from the keyboard

Insert card in the computer or external card reader

Browse the card.

The file remains in .MID format with NO need to convert.
