If you record a phrase, and then play it back on a phrase pad, it is possible that certain notes could change to the wrong pitch. For example, B notes are changed to C notes in all octaves.
This is affected by the "Chord Sync" setting ("ChordSyn" on the display), which is described on page EN-56 of the manual.
The problem occurs whenever Chord Sync is turned on. This is the default setting when the keyboard is initialized.
The solution is to turn off Chord Sync. If you turn off Chord Sync, and play back the phrases, then they should play the correct notes.
